Who we are

What data we collect and why

  • Contact forms and viewing requests: name, email, phone number and message.

    • Purpose: to handle your enquiry, send you information and arrange appointments.

    • Legal basis: your request for information (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in responding.

  • Email/phone enquiries: any data you provide so we can deal with your request.

  • Comments (if enabled): form data, IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. Once approved, your profile image may be visible next to your comment if you use Gravatar.

  • User-uploaded images (if applicable): please avoid uploading images with EXIF/GPS metadata; other users could extract location data.

  • Technical data and cookies: IP address, cookie identifiers and preferences, necessary for session, security and user experience (see “Cookies”).

 

Cookies

  • If you leave a comment (when enabled), you may opt in to saving your name, email and website in cookies for 1 year.

  • When visiting the login page, we may set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies; it stores no personal data and is deleted when you close the browser.

  • When you log in, we set cookies to save your login (about 2 days) and screen preferences (about 1 year). If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for 2 weeks. When you log out, login cookies are removed.

  • If you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie (with no personal data) stores the post ID; it expires after 1 day.

You can configure or block cookies in your browser. Some features may not function correctly if you disable certain cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website and may collect data, use cookies and perform tracking according to that site’s own policies.

Who we share your data with

  • Hosting and email services: our provider (e.g., IONOS) to operate the website and send communications.

  • Spam/security tools: we may use automated services for anti-spam and security.

  • Gravatar (if you comment): a hashed (anonymised) version of your email may be sent to check if you use the service (see Automattic’s privacy policy on their website).

  • If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security.

We do not sell your data. We only share it with essential service providers or when legally required. If any service involves transfers outside the EEA, we will apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we retain your data

  • Commercial enquiries: up to 24 months from your last interaction, or until your request is fully handled.

  • Customers/contractual relationship: for the duration of the relationship and statutory periods (e.g., tax/accounting).

  • Comments: indefinitely, so we can recognise and approve follow-up comments automatically.

  • Cookies: as set out in section 3 or your browser settings.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw consent at any time.

If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD)

Security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. No method is infallible; if a relevant incident occurs, we will act in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. We will publish the current version on this page and indicate the last updated date.
